I'm having trouble figuring out the large cardboard pieces - you have these great flat map things for expedition but I can't seem to find them anywhere, also I'm rubbish at measuring. The insert "has a place for everything" but it doesn't hold up to being traveled with very well, even with a box band.

I think you are referring to our "Flat" containers. They measure 120mm(4.7") x 120mm(4.7") x 20mm(0.8") and you can find them here:
